Meet the Captains Behind Gaming Ocean TCG

Alongside my wife, we are the husband-and-wife team behind Gaming Ocean—a family-owned card shop built by collectors, for collectors.

Gaming Ocean started with one simple goal:

To create the kind of card shop we always wished existed.

My Collector Story

My love for trading cards began when I was a kid, opening my very first Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! booster packs. Like so many collectors, those moments weren't just about pulling rare cards—they were about the excitement, the memories, and sharing the hobby with friends and family. Those experiences stayed with me long after the packs were gone.

The Journey That Rekindled My Passion

As life got busier, collecting took a back seat for a while. Then, when the new Digimon Card Game was announced, it reignited my passion for trading card games in a way I hadn't expected. I found myself opening packs again, discovering new games, and reconnecting with the hobby that had meant so much to me growing up.

That excitement inspired me to start creating pack opening videos on YouTube, where I could share my favorite trading card games and connect with collectors who loved the hobby just as much as I did. Through those videos and the amazing community surrounding them, I realized something—I wanted to do more than just open packs.

I wanted to create the kind of card shop I had always wished existed.

Why Gaming Ocean Was Created

Like many collectors, I've experienced damaged booster boxes, overpriced products, and disappointing customer service. Those experiences motivated me to build a store where collectors could shop with confidence, knowing every order would be treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own collection.

Today, Gaming Ocean is proudly run by my wife and I. We're not a giant warehouse or a faceless retailer—we're a small family business built by collectors, for collectors.
